On July 28th, Amazon officially launched their 3-D Printed Products Store where online shoppers can customize and print-on-demand items. The majority of the items are jewelry, so people can choose from different finishes and sizes. This also opens doors for 3-D designers who want their items to be sold on Amazon. Some big time retailers have already caught on board, like Neiman Marcus who has included printed products to their online catalog. If this proves to be successful, it could mean a new future for custom products.
