Baseball’s Best Promotional Item Is Here To Stay

Baseball’s Best Promotional Item Is Here To Stay

In 1999, the first bobblehead of Willie Mays, a center fielder for the San Francisco Giants, was given out and created a snowball effect. The “Say Hey Kids” player’s promo item was so popular, different ones were made of different players and continue to be a hit even outside of the baseball world. Through the years the bubblehead has advanced greatly in design, accurateness, and technology. One of the characters from the film Major League, Harry Doyle played by Bob Uecker, features a system that will play different famous quotes from the film. After announcing that this new item will be the next giveaway, the rate of tickets sold rapidly increased.

Bubbleheads are such a timeless promotional item as they are loved by a large demographic of kids and adults. They are collectable items, great gifts, and souvenirs. Captiv8 has made many bobbleheads in the past and would love to help create a new custom take on a classic promo.
