Captiv8 Custom Award: The Herald Examiner Building!

Captiv8 Custom Award: The Herald Examiner Building!

The Los Angeles Herald Examiner was a major Los Angeles daily newspaper until 1989. The building was designed nationally acclaimed architects in 1914, making it now a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument. The monument has been vacant since the Examiner’s last issue in 1989. New York developer Georgetown Broadway purchased the building and is now partnering with Hearst on a $40-million project to redevelop the building into offices and ground-floor restaurants.

Captiv8 worked with Hearst and Georgetown Broadway to commemorate the joint venture in recreating a historical landmark. The award undertook the theme of the old newspaper to symbolize the motive to preserve the history behind the building. Let us know if we can commemorate your accomplishments with a prestigious award such as this one!
