The National High School Invitational (NHSI) launched in 2009 at Georgetown Prep in Bethesda, Maryland to have the highest ranked High School basketball teams play each other and compete for the title. The event moved to New York when DICK’S Sporting Goods began to sponsor the event, as well as Madison Square Garden as the venue. In 2015 Montverde (FL) boys won their third consecutive title and Miami Country Day (FL) girls won their first.
Captiv8 worked with DICK’S t0 create the best trophy for the best and winners of the championship. Honoring both the 2015 champions, the Montverde boys and Miami Country Day girls, Captiv8 created a trophy that the school could proudly place in their halls.
