The new Reebok Store in New York City just opened in Union Square and they made sure this one was different than the rest! Along with the new store they have also opened Fithub, which offers various different workout sessions with a range of different instructors and they installed a window display unlike any others. On the corner of West 14th Street and Union, you will find a local screen printer making requested clothing designs by the customers. The visitors can pick out any clothing from the store and get their choice of design or phrase printed on the garment right in front of them, and for free! Choose from tops, hoodies, shorts, pants, hats, and bags; all of which can all be imprinted. There are multiple different designs and combinations on display around the store to offer ideas and inspiration while the employees wear their own custom designs. This is a 5 week trial to test how people like the local printing and whether Reebok should implement the idea into more stores. Check it out and share your opinion and custom design online with the hashtag “#localink” and see how others have designed their workout gear!
