MoSex Swag!

New York City’s Museum of Sex opened in 2002 in hopes to educate visitors on sexual history. The official mission statement of the museum is “to preserve and present the history, evolution, and cultural significance of human sexuality. In its exhibitions, programs and publications, The Museum of Sex is committed to open discourse and exchange, and to bringing to the public the best in current scholarship.” The museum uses an education format, but there is explicit content so there is an 18 or older age requirement. The only with funding comes from the admission price and the newly added store.

The store has a wide range of fun products like custom apparel, home goods, toys, gifts, and books. Captiv8 has also made custom swag that can be found online or in the store. Here you can see one of the mugs and a pair of sunglasses we created. The mug displays a saying that is seen on most the the drinkwear that the museum store sells. The sunglasses have custom lens printing on them which make them a favorite for most of the visitors. We’ve made additional products for the museum including shot glasses, mints, and coasters.
