With all of our devices these days, it’s hard to guess what they might come up with next. Well, now we can see where the future of handbags are going. The innovative thinkers of Lepow, a Chinese design company, have created a smart bag that will make commuting even more technologically advanced. What Qifang Dai and Ray Lei call their HiSmart Bag, can easily transform from a backpack to a messenger bag that holds the HiRemote in the strap. The remote uses Bluetooth technology to connect directly to the smartphone that is held within the bag with an available app. With the two controls on the strap, the holder has control over music, phone calls, volume, dropping pins, taking pictures and recording notes! These functions can be particularly useful for commuters who don’t have to keep rummaging around their bags for their phones. This kind of wearable technology is currently going for $200, but who can put a price on efficiency?
