Philanthropists Charles Bronfman and Michael Steinhardt first had the vision of allowing all young Jews to have the opportunity to visit their ancestral homeland. Since the beginning of Taglit-Birthright Israel in 1999, they have sent 400,000 young Jewish adults on 10-day trips where they can discover their own personal connection to Jewish values and tradition. Young adults from ages 18-24 travel around Israel in groups and make deep connections with each other and the land of their ancestors. These amazing trips are made possible thanks to donations from parents, the Jewish Federal System, the Jewish Agency for Israel, and many individual donors from around the globe who believe in what Taglit does.
We had the opportunity to work with Taglit to come up with something fun to add to the Birthright experience. What came out of this collaboration were these brilliant metallic temporary tattoos! Traditional symbols of Judaism will be worn fashionably on the lucky young adults who make their visit to Israel. Metallic tattoos have quickly gained popularity in the past year and are the best way to accessorize when trying to pack lightly!
