The V Foundation!

The V Foundation was founded by Jim Valvano after being diagnosed with cancer at the young age of 46. Valvano was a successful college basketball coach and after gaining ESPN’s support, was capable of starting the foundation for cancer research. Captiv8 gladly helped create a promotional product that would represent and serve the foundation. A custom piggy bank was perfect. It would allow money to be saved by using it but would also raise awareness. The piggy bank displays the foundations logo and their inspirational motto “Don’t give up… Don’t ever give up!” that was spoken by Jim during his speech at the 1993 ESPY’s.
