For those who don’t follow, the X Games is an annual ESPN sports event that focuses on other sports that aren’t the usual coverage on the ESPN channel like football or basketball. The sports during the X Games are extreme sports that have higher risks of danger than any other type of sport; for example, surfing, climbing, skiing and snowboarding, mountain biking, paintball, etc. The most recent X Games was held at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas from June 4 until June 7. These X Games were a memorable one due to the appearance of the US Navy; members of the Naval Special Warfare/Special Operations Forces were there to allow fans to try on their gear, have famous athletes at their booth to give fans a chance for an autograph, and get to know what it’s like to have the X Games athlete traits yet protect our country whilst. Captiv8 was lucky enough to also design and customize certain products to honor the Navy appearance. During this event, Skateboarder Rony Gomes made history by performing the first front side 360 Ollie in Skateboard Big Air history, and Captiv8 was honored to partake in remembering that accomplishment by designing the 2015 X Games Towel. Captiv8 designed these towels customized for the ESPN event and for the athletes to cool down and remember the event. With a constant color theme, and an obvious logo, these towels will be sure to draw attention wherever they’re placed. Let Captiv8 know if you’d like your very own event to be successfully promoted with towels just like the ones from the X Games!
