World Aids Day on December 1st!

World Aids Day on December 1st!

World Aids Day is right around the corner and we want everyone to get involved one way or another. First, here’s a blur regarding what the day is about:

World Aids Day is an annual awareness day that takes place on December 1st. The day gives millions of people the united opportunity to fight against HIV and commemorate those who have died from the disease. For those who aren’t familiar, HIV stands for human immunodeficiency virus. If left untreated, HIV can lead to the disease AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). There is no cure to the disease, however there are treatments that can control the damage. Since 1988, people all over the globe have been coming together on December 1st and raising awareness and support for the 35 million who have died from this disease and for those who are seeking better treatment. On December 1st, you can show support by wearing a red ribbon, or anything that symbolizes AIDS awareness. It’s also a great opportunity to raise money for NAT (National AIDS Trust) and show your support for people living with HIV.

Captiv8 is giving you the opportunity to show support on this day through products as shown above. Whether it’s shoe laces, a bracelet, necklace, or pin, you’ll be sure to get the supportive message out.
